Michelle Kenyon, MS
For attorneys
Clinically informed insight for complex family dynamics
I provide consultation and expert-witness services to attorneys working with cases involving high-conflict relationships, parallel parenting, narcissistic abuse, coercive relational dynamics, and other complex interpersonal patterns.
My work brings a clinical perspective to relational and behavioral dynamics that can be difficult to identify, articulate, or contextualize within a legal matter. Services may include case consultation, review and conceptualization of relevant materials, professional education, and expert testimony when appropriate.
My role is not to conduct custody evaluations or make recommendations regarding conservatorship, possession, or access. Rather, I provide specialized clinically informed insight within the scope of my training, experience, and professional role.
Case Consultation & Expert Witness Services — consultation with attorneys regarding high-conflict and parallel-parenting dynamics, clinical concepts relevant to a matter, review of case materials, and potential expert testimony.
Professional Education & Workshops — trainings for attorneys, legal teams, and other professionals on recognizing and understanding high-conflict relational patterns, parallel-parenting dynamics, coercive behavior, boundaries, communication patterns, and the psychological impact of prolonged interpersonal conflict.
Parent Education — Educational workshops/programs for individual parents navigating high-conflict and parallel parenting, with a focus on practical strategies, boundaries, communication, and reducing the impact of ongoing conflict.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR ATTORNEYS
Litigation Consulting and Expert Testimony
• Litigation record and communication review — chronology, pattern analysis, and documentation of high-conflict or coercive dynamics
• Case consultation with retaining attorney — strategy, terminology, and issue-spotting within scope of expertise
• Written expert opinion / consulting report
• Deposition and trial testimony
• Attorney and staff education (CLE-style sessions) on coercive control and parallel-parenting dynamics
What I Do Not offer
I do not conduct custody evaluations or make conservatorship/possession recommendations. That work requires a comprehensive, neutral evaluation of both parents and the family system — a distinct role (custody/forensic evaluator) that I do not hold.
